E3 Terminology Definitions Scope SC-2 is responsible to develop and update an American National Standard Dictionary for Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) including Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3). This document provides definitions of terms associated with EMC and E3. In addition to definitions, it includes terminology and abbreviations. Some duplication of IEEE Std100 may occur if terms are used in C63 standards. This is a living document that requires update every 5 years as the technology changes. It shall consider the latest definitions from sources such as: C63 standards, Department of Defense (DoD) and others as deemed appropriate (e.g. IEC 60050-161). The document number shall be ANSI C63.14-(Latest Date). Links |
